Another successful Technology Day on product traceability was hosted by Theodorou on March 20th in Athens. The critical issue of fruit and vegetables traceability was discussed with the visitors, most of whom were suppliers of major retail chains.

The innovative feature of the event was that ‘Tracer Factory’, our traceability solution was installed within a virtual packaging house – a great opportunity for the visitors to see how a traceability solution with its software capabilities and its hardware equipment (barcode scanners, printers, Wi-Fi, etc) works in real-time. Also, face-to-face meetings were held in order to understand and explore the particular needs and processes of every company.

Tracer Factory has been successfully installed in many packaging houses (namely, Pantazis) and covers all legal and customer requirements regarding product traceability and safety.
